Depuy Hip Implant Device Recall

DePuy Orthopedics, a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson has recently announced a recall of its ASR hip replacement implant devices. It is estimated that nearly 100,000 of these dangerous and defective devices were implanted in patients. DePuy estimates that at least 13% of the patients implanted with these devices will require a second hip replacement surgery to replace the device and possibly repair additional damage caused by the device. The actual number of patients affected is likely much higher. If you or a loved one has a DePuy ASR hip device, it would be wise to seek the advise of an attorney immediately. We strongly recommend you not sign anything, (especially if it is from DePuy) until you talk to an attorney.
