
A Fort Worth motorcycle accident involving two vehicles claims the life of a man after his motorcycle collides with another vehicle on a local freeway. The incident took place early Saturday morning, September 3, 2011, in the 10600 block of West Freeway.
According to reports, a motorcycle slammed into the back of another vehicle along West Freeway. Rescue crews transported the motorcyclist to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth.
The Tarrant County medical examiner's office identified the motorcyclist as Eldon Kite, 54, of Gordon. Unfortunately, Mr. Kite was pronounced dead at 9:17 a.m. the same morning due to blunt trauma to his head and chest.
The identity of the other driver was not immediately made known. It was unclear if anyone else was injured or involved in the two-vehicle wreck that claimed the life of Mr. Kite.
The fatal Fort Worth motorcycle accident remains under investigation by local authorities. No other details concerning the crash or who was at fault were immediately made available. However, Mr. Kite's death was ruled an accident by officials.
