About Luke Metzler
Since obtaining his law license in 2011, Luke has solely represented injured plaintiffs in complex cases involving medical malpractice, catastrophic personal injury, and products liability. Luke has further developed a specialty niche in birth injury litigation as a result of negligent labor and delivery and neonatal resuscitation causing brain damage, hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, cerebral palsy, and developmental delay.
Luke represents victims of medical negligence and catastrophic injury nationally. Luke’s results speak for themselves, including obtaining the largest medical malpractice verdicts in Texas in 2019, which was also one of the largest in the United States.
My Approach
Luke aggressively pursues cases at the highest level to ensure industry and institutional changes to improve patient and consumer safety. Luke’s clients are like family and always get the attention and dedication they deserve.

Luke has also been published numerous times and presented to national audiences for continuing legal education.

Personal Bio
Luke H. Metzler was born in Newton, Kansas, and graduated from the University of Kansas in 2007, with Bachelor’s degrees in Philosophy and Sociology. He obtained his law degree from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas in 2011 and earned numerous speaker awards in Mock Trial competitions.
